My 365 project is nearing an end, and yet all I could manage on Thursday night was this silly little monster picture, which I made with an online art tool called artPad. Oh well.

Day 340: Electrode Man
On Wednesday, I made my scariest drawing ever—this man in one of those electrode hats they use for testing brain waves. Eek! The drawing came about, I think, partly because, at work on Wednesday, my colleague Stephanie reminded me about how I talked about “finding your inner weird” in my post about creativity. When I got home that evening, I guess I tried to find some weirdness.
The drawing was also inspired by the ridiculous picture below, which I spotted in an old newspaper I found while cleaning out some files at work. It makes me laugh.
Day 321: Hello Man
On Friday night, I made this funny doodle. He’s pretty similar to this guy, but a little happier, I guess.
Day 305: Pumpkin Head Bird Trainer
Tonight, I made this rather random pumpkin head bird trainer guy. This piece came about as I was looking through a free booklet of photography I got at one of the museums in Barcelona. There was a picture of a bird trainer in it, which I thought was already kind of weird. I decided it would be fun to make it weirder.

Day 299: Cosby Sweater Skeleton
This guy somehow ended up looking like Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas. It was totally unplanned. Note that his Cosby sweater was inspired by the blog The Cosby Project, which regularly features doodles of the patterns on Cosby’s sweaters. Amazing!
